Alec Miles offers friendly, supportive, and highly effective clinics at his base, suitable for all ages and abilities—from complete beginners to experienced riders looking to refine their skills. Alec brings a calm, confidence-giving approach to coaching, helping every horse and rider partnership progress at a pace that suits them.

Alec also runs regular clinics at Eden Equine in Alresford every Wednesday afternoon from 3pm–7pm. Eden Equine boasts fantastic facilities, including both an indoor and outdoor arena, making it the perfect venue for year-round training. Booking is available through My Riding Life.

We also host regular clinics with Jayne Smart, who along with Alec Miles is one of the UK’s most accomplished and versatile equestrian coaches.

Jayne achieved her BHS Fellowship in March 2022 and brings over 30 years of experience in the horse world. Some of Jayne’s career includes:

• Riding Grade A show jumpers

• Competing in the Young Riders Championships at HOYS, Olympia, and Hickstead

• Achieving 3rd in the Working Hunter Final at the RIHS

• Completing both Badminton and Burghley

• Riding to PSG level Dressage

• Producing all horses from home

• Breaking, training, and developing many young horses across multiple disciplines

Jayne primarily teaches show jumping but is happy to coach in any discipline.
